Skiing In Mind - The Idfreeride Winter Camp January 9-13, 2006
Freeriding/ski training and alpine safety sessions in the French/Swiss Alps.
Idfreeride is back in Morzine/Avoriaz/Les Gets (France) for 5 days (Jan 9-13) of enervating high-end ski training, freeriding and backcountry sessions.
The camp is run in cooperation with Whiteriders, who offer glamorous accommodation in Morzine, and the British Alpine Ski School (BASS).
The coaches are from the highly skilled collective around Austrian skier Stephan Skrobar and will show you how to check out snow and terrain, sow to use avalanche transceivers/probes, have a look at the snowpack and (most importantly) ride wickedly fast!
All trainers are fully qualified Austrian alpine ski guides and instructor examiners, competitors or contest judges. The camp includes quality test gear thanks to our cool sponsors, video sessions and, if we feel like it, we’ll go skitouring.
