Hi, yesterday got a chance to take a pair of used dobermann slr for a test ride. What I noticed before skiing was a really minor camber as compared to my current, 3 yrs old race stock atomic SL´s. Is this most likely due to construction failure, i.e. the inner wooden core simply gradually falling apart, or possibly due to storage in inappropriate conditions? Is this typical for skis with the similar simple layered structure when they gain mileage? Another issue that I noticed was that the skis were made in Austria. Any idea which factory nordica uses for outsourcing?
